So, this past week, I have been horribly sick. As a result of this, I have not given much thought to my personal change, and also felt bad enough that I just forgot a lot of things. I did not make it to the grocery this week, but got a friend to go for me, which resulted in my reusable bags sitting in the corner of my room and not being used. Also, I've been trying to drown away my sickness by drinking lots of water, but to avoid keeping myself sick, I try not to reuse the water bottles. However, I have been putting them in recycling, so at least I haven't completely failed on that part. Also, when I went home a few weekends ago, I could not find my nalgene bottle. It is missing. I suppose I'll have to buy a new one, whenever I get well enough to make it to the store.
However, as a somewhat positive to being sick is that I don't feel well enough to go out and eat at restaurants. And so I have eaten almost every meal this week at home, and have been careful to reduce my waste. I'd never thought about my amount of waste before, but the trip to the waste transfer station a few weeks ago, I have been much more aware.
